Unlock and Align Facilitation cc. trading as RESOLVE offers the facilitative consulting services of Andries Burger, a Professional Chemical Engineer with 22 years technical, operational and leadership experience in the petrochemical industry.  Services are offered in the fields of Training & Development as well as Business Process Improvement, information system utilisation and safety.  The combination of extensive experience and passion to grow people and operational excellence blends together with a substantial network within the petrochemical industry to provide a unique and value adding service.

Functional training focuses primarily on technical process training for process engineers and operational personnel.  Responding to specific market requirements the best training is sourced locally and internationally and hosted/presented for participation from the full spectrum of SA Industry.   A network of collaboration is provided within the petrochemical industry and wider chemical engineering profession to share in training opportunities.

Individual development includes personal coaching and mentoring assisting especially new appointees making the transition between different organisation levels as well as personal efficacy in change management, general management and leadership.  Team Development includes group facilitation through practical understanding of inter-personal and group dynamics to energising towards a culture of performance excellence.

Business Process Improvement services are offered through a process of Consultative Facilitation where the client (individual or team) is supported to evaluate reality, develop and implement solutions while verifying the growing improvement.  Assistance is offered by helping, coaching, guiding, advising, stimulating and challenging from a wide base of experience.  The end result is a client specific solution which is developed, implemented and owned (literally and psychologically) by the client.  Through this approach the client gains knowledge, experience and becomes less dependent on external support services.  Business processes with particular experience include Production Safety; Production Planning and Scheduling; Plant and Equipment Reliability; Plant Integrity and Maintenance; Information Functionality and utilisation; Management of Risk; Change Management; Staff Coaching and Mentoring; Staff alignment and activation in plan execution.
